Tattoo is a marking or a design on a part of the body. There are two types of tattoo, non-permanent and permanent. Non-Permanent or temporary tattoos are done by making a decorative design on the outer layer of the skin which is the epidermis, this lasts for days to weeks. Permanent tattoos are done by injecting an indelible ink into the dermis layer of the skin which creates a design later on. Tattoo came from the word "Tahitian" (tatu) which means to mark something, no one knows how it began but there are claims that tattooing existed since 12000 years BC. In recorded history early tattoos are found in Egyptian in Egypt. Continue reading
